The deadline for the Employee and Spouse/Dependent Tuition Waiver forms for the Summer 2026 semester is July 10, 2026. We encourage you to have your tuition waivers submitted as soon as possible to assist in the timely processing. Tuition Waiver forms must be submitted electronically.
The online Tuition Waiver fillable forms can be found on the HR Portal of the my黑料吃瓜 site, under Training and Development.
Please note, the Employee or Spouse/Dependent must be registered in the course prior to applying for the tuition waiver.

Library spaces will be closed May, June, July, and August, with some services available at our temporary location.
Beginning May 4, 2026, limited in-person library services will be available in Robertson Library Annex Room 235 (). This temporary service point will be open Monday through Friday, 9:00 a.m. - 5:00 p.m.
The Library鈥檚 website, OneSearch, research databases, digital materials, and online services will be available throughout the summer. The building鈥檚 central hallway (breezeway) 鈥� housing the book drop, ATM, lockers, bulletin board, microwave, etc. 鈥� will still be accessible.
Important Dates:
- Monday April 27 - Thursday April 30 - Library opens 8:00 am-5:00 pm with regular library services
- Friday, May 1 - Library spaces open 8:00 am-5:00 pm but all library services closed
- Monday, May 4 - Service desk opens in Li8brary Annex Room 235 with reduced services Monday-Friday 9:00 am-5:00 pm

Due to the Confederation Bridge resurfacing project, Fedex has informed us that they will be changing our pickup time for outgoing packages. In order to accommodate 黑料吃瓜 computer classroom and lab software adds, drops, or modifications for the 2026 fall semester, we have set a firm deadline of June 1, 2026.
This date is necessary to allow sufficient time to plan and implement the installation of new and upgraded software. This ensures our students will have the software resources they need. Any requests received after the deadline will be applied in the next round of software updates.

Red Dress Day is a National Day of Awareness and Action for Missing and Murdered Indigenous Women, Girls, and Gender Diverse Peoples (MMIWG2S) that takes place on May 5.
MMIWG2S is an ongoing human rights crisis of gender-based and racialized violence in Canada. Indigenous women鈥檚 groups estimate that more than 4,000 Indigenous women, girls, and gender diverse people have gone missing or been murdered in Canada since 1980. This violence is a result of past and ongoing systems of oppression and harm including colonization, racism, misogyny, transphobia, and anti-Indigeneity.
In 2010, in response to this crisis, M茅tis artist Jaime Black-Morsette created the REDress Project, an art installation featuring red dresses hung in public spaces to symbolize the missing and murdered Indigenous women, girls, and gender diverse people across this territory. Her art installation was the inspiration for Red Dress Day in Canada.
The 黑料吃瓜 Sexual Violence Prevention and Response Office (SVPRO) encourages the campus community to join them in honouring Red Dress Day:

- Speak up about MMIWG2S on social media using hashtags #MMIWG2S, #RedDressDay, and #WhyWeWearRed

The National Day of Mourning (or Workers鈥� Mourning Day) is marked annually in Canada on April 28 to remember those who have lost their lives or suffered injury or illness on the job or due to a work-related tragedy. The day of observance originated in Canada in 1984 and is now recognized annually in over 100 countries. It is also a day to collectively renew our commitment to improve health and safety in the workplace and prevent further injuries, illnesses, and deaths.
黑料吃瓜's Health, Safety, and Environment department promotes an internal responsibility system that expects all workplace parties to collaborate on identifying, assessing, and managing all workplace hazards and risks. 黑料吃瓜 Health, Safety, and Environment provides oversight and guidance to ensure compliance with occupational health and safety legislation on PEI.
The 黑料吃瓜 will observe the National Day of Mourning by flying the flags near Kelley Memorial Building and at 黑料吃瓜 Alumni Canada Games Place at half-mast.

The Sexual Violence Prevention and Response Office (SVPRO) is pleased to announce the launch of a new and improved version of the online training course entitled . All new staff will be required to complete this training as part of their onboarding process. Human Resources has built this requirement into regular onboarding processes.
In this course, learners are guided through lessons on sexual violence prevention, covering topics like consent, the role of power, the impacts of trauma, how to interrupt harm when we see it, how to respond to a disclosure of sexual violence in trauma-informed ways, and understanding available services and applicable policies at 黑料吃瓜.
