Calgary Friends of ºÚÁÏ³Ô¹Ï Raised More Than $650,000 for Scholarships

Calgary, Alberta -- Wade MacLauchlan, president and vice-chancellor of the ºÚÁϳԹÏ, chats with Bill LeClair, founder of the Calgary Friends of ºÚÁϳԹÏ; Bill Andrew, chancellor of ºÚÁϳԹÏ; and George Rogers, a member of the Friends' organizing committee, at the group's annual fundraising event held in Calgary on November 3. Since the Calgary Friends of ºÚÁÏ³Ô¹Ï began in 1998, the group has raised over $620,000 for ºÚÁÏ³Ô¹Ï scholarships and bursaries in perpetuity, and has awarded almost $150,000 in scholarships to ºÚÁÏ³Ô¹Ï students. This year's event raised over $30,000 for the fund.
