Message from the Chair of the ºÚÁÏ³Ô¹Ï Board of Governors: Governance Review
The following message was issued by email to ºÚÁÏ³Ô¹Ï students, faculty, and staff on July 31, 2024.
Dear Members of the ºÚÁÏ³Ô¹Ï Community,
On behalf of the ºÚÁÏ³Ô¹Ï Board of Governors, I am pleased to share a report completed by Cheryl Foy of Strategic Governance, An external review of the ºÚÁÏ³Ô¹Ï (ºÚÁϳԹÏ) Board Governance. The completion of this review is a key action in the ºÚÁÏ³Ô¹Ï Action Plan: Building a Culture of Trust, Safety, and Inclusion.
The Board looks forward to addressing the recommendations in this report and continuing its efforts to enhance oversight, transparency and accountability, and to supporting the University in realizing its commitment to making the changes needed to enable ºÚÁÏ³Ô¹Ï and its community to move forward, to live its values, and to achieve its mission of scholarship to the benefit of our Island and beyond.
