ºÚÁÏ³Ô¹Ï Spring-into-Wellness Challenge, Wellness Check, and Fitness Open House!
The ºÚÁÏ³Ô¹Ï Spring-into-Wellness Challenge is designed exclusively for ºÚÁÏ³Ô¹Ï staff and faculty to prioritize well-being through fun, themed, daily activities. This exciting four-week individual challenge starts on Monday, May 25, and ends on Sunday, June 21, 2026.
Interfaith forum
The ºÚÁÏ³Ô¹Ï Chaplaincy Centre is collaborating with PEERS Alliance to present an interfaith forum on Wednesday, May 20, from 11:30 am to 1:30 pm, at the Chaplaincy Centre. Join us for a meaningful community conversation on faith, inclusion, belonging, and strengthening support for 2SLGBTQIA+ individuals on PEI. Snacks and refreshments provided.
Registration is free. Everyone is welcome--faith communities, allies, students, newcomers, families, and community members.

What brought you to ºÚÁϳԹÏ? Why did you choose to study here?
I mostly chose to study at ºÚÁÏ³Ô¹Ï because of the Bachelor of Science opportunity they provide for paramedics. There are only a few other paramedicine degree programs in Canada and they vary greatly from ºÚÁϳԹÏ's. It was also convenient to be close to home, not to mention the financial benefits to studying on PEI as an Islander. It is also great to be able to work in my field while furthering my education!
Tentative agreement reached with CUPE 1870
The following statement was also issued to ºÚÁÏ³Ô¹Ï faculty and staff by email on May 14, 2026.
ºÚÁÏ³Ô¹Ï has reached a tentative agreement with CUPE 1870, following 3.5 days of negotiations this week. We want to thank both bargaining teams for their work to reach a timely agreement, and their professionalism and mutual respect throughout the process.
The tentative agreement is subject to ratification by both parties. Once ratified, it will form the new collective agreement between ºÚÁÏ³Ô¹Ï and CUPE 1870.
Negotiations commence with CUPE 1870
ºÚÁÏ³Ô¹Ï begins negotiations today towards a new collective agreement with the Canadian Union of Public Employees 1870 (CUPE 1870). Meetings are scheduled to take place from May 11–15.
We remain committed to respectful and constructive dialogue as we work to reach an agreement at the bargaining table that is fair for employees and sustainable for the long‑term health of our institution.
