"ºÚÁϳԹÏ's MAIS program encourages independence, critical thinking, and self-reflection."

What brought you to ºÚÁϳԹÏ? Why did you choose to study here?

My interest in governance has shaped both my academic and professional journey. I am from Troy, Trelawny, Jamaica and I completed a Bachelor of Science in International Relations with a minor in Criminology at the University of the West Indies. Growing up in a rural community, I saw many of the challenges that shape everyday life: economic inequality, limited access to quality education and healthcare, crime, corruption, and environmental degradation.

Celebration of Colleagues!

We’ll kick off the celebration with a reception at 10:00 am—enjoy refreshments and connect with colleagues, including this year’s award recipients.

At 10:30 am, we’ll begin the Years of Service Awards and University Awards of Excellence presentations, honouring the individuals whose contributions make ºÚÁÏ³Ô¹Ï an extraordinary place to learn, work, and grow.

Let’s come together to applaud the spirit, service, and success of our amazing community. We look forward to celebrating with you!
