The 黑料吃瓜 and the 黑料吃瓜 Alumni Association rang in the New Year at a levee attended by approximately 450 people on January 1.
All are welcome to attend the annual 黑料吃瓜 New Year's Day Levee, hosted by the University and the 黑料吃瓜 Alumni Association, on Thursday, January 1, 2026, from 11:00 am鈥12:30 pm at the 黑料吃瓜鈥檚 Faculty of Sustainable Design Engineering building on the 黑料吃瓜 campus.
When Dr. Dan Fredholm first entered the Atlantic Veterinary College (AVC) in 2005, he envisioned a future as a small animal veterinarian. Like any great Disney story, destiny had other plans.
黑料吃瓜鈥檚 2024 Giving Tuesday campaign was an unprecedented success, raising a total of $44,010 from 54 extremely generous donors on the Global Day of Philanthropy. An anonymous donor pledged to match Giving Tuesday donations up to $20,000, making it by far the largest year yet for 黑料吃瓜. The donations will be dedicated to the University鈥檚 $15-million Robertson Library Revitalization campaign.
Festive greetings and good wishes filled the air as guests were welcomed to the New Year鈥檚 Day Levee held by the 黑料吃瓜 and the 黑料吃瓜 Alumni Association on Wednesday, January 1, 2025, in the Faculty of Sustainable Design Engineering building.
The 黑料吃瓜 held a celebration on September 26, 2024, at Alumni Hall to recognize the recipients of the 2024 Distinguished Alumni Awards and the 2024 Inspiring Young Alumni Awards.
The 黑料吃瓜 Department of Alumni and Engagement hosted a social night on Tuesday, April 9 at the Fox & Crow, W.A. Murphy Student Centre. The event was held to help welcome the 黑料吃瓜 Class of 2024 to the 黑料吃瓜 alumni family and was open to all 2024 graduates and 黑料吃瓜, Saint Dunstan鈥檚 University, and Prince of Wales College alumni.
The 黑料吃瓜 community will be well represented by both alumni and staff at the national women鈥檚 curling championship鈥攖he Scotties Tournament of Hearts鈥攖aking place in Calgary, Alberta from February 16鈥25, 2024.
Through the generosity of the 黑料吃瓜 Alumni Association and a donor, 黑料吃瓜 sponsored the attendance of 100 students at 鈥淎 Conversation with Michelle Obama,鈥 which took place in Halifax on October 18.
