A Celebration of Heritage Day 2019

Members of the ºÚÁÏ³Ô¹Ï community are invited by Mayor Philip Brown and members of Charlottetown CIty Council to attend "A Celebration of Heritage Day 2019" featuring a special focus on post-secondary education and ºÚÁϳԹÏ's 50th anniversary. The event will include the City's Heritage Awards Presentation and a short lecture by ºÚÁϳԹÏ's very own Dr. Edward MacDonald, professor of history. Dr. MacDonald will present "The Road to ºÚÁϳԹÏ: Some Reflections on Higher Education in Prince Edward Island. There will also be an exhibit launched called "On Saints and Welshmen: The Evolution of Post Secondary Education in Charlottetown." The festivities begin at 12 noon on Tuesday, February 19 at City Hall, second level, 199 Queen Street. All are welcome.
