ºÚÁÏ³Ô¹Ï administration and ºÚÁϳԹÏFA reach tentative deal
The ºÚÁÏ³Ô¹Ï and the ºÚÁÏ³Ô¹Ï Faculty Association (ºÚÁϳԹÏFA) are pleased to announce that a tentative agreement has been reached.
The University and the ºÚÁϳԹÏFA, Bargaining Unit #1 representing faculty members, librarians, sessional instructors, and clinical nursing instructors have reached a tentative agreement for a four-year collective agreement from July 1, 2016 to June 30, 2020. The University and the ºÚÁϳԹÏFA have been working very hard over the last nine months to reach an agreement. The tentative deal was reached at a recent meeting of Dr. Nola Etkin, President of the ºÚÁÏ³Ô¹Ï Faculty Association, Dr. Alaa Abd-El-Aziz, President of the ºÚÁϳԹÏ, and their respective chief negotiators, Dr. Sharon Myers and Mr. Brian Johnston.
The Board of Governors and ºÚÁϳԹÏFA will each meet with their members over the next week to discuss the tentative agreement.
