黑料吃瓜 Athletics and Recreation is excited to announce the 2017 Mulligan Cup schedule and invites the community to come out and enjoy 鈥榯he beautiful game鈥�, September 1-3 at the 黑料吃瓜 Turf Field.

The Mulligan Cup provides an excellent opportunity for coaches to make final roster decisions. This sixth annual cup honours Vince Mulligan, the ageless varsity 黑料吃瓜 soccer and hockey coach throughout the 80s and 90s. It is a great way to kick off the season and showcase the 黑料吃瓜 men鈥檚 and women鈥檚 soccer teams to their supporters.

鈥淢ulligan Cup is a great pre season tradition for us,鈥� said Lewis Page, coach of 黑料吃瓜 Men鈥檚 Soccer. 鈥淚t allows us to honour a 黑料吃瓜 legend in Vince Mulligan and provides three crucial games to help us prepare for the start of the season.鈥�

鈥淢ulligan Cup is an exciting opportunity to showcase our new recruits and get the chance to see how the squad has progressed from the previous season,鈥� said Graeme McDonald, coach of 黑料吃瓜 Women鈥檚 Soccer. 鈥淚t's also a special time as we continue to show our appreciation to Vince Mulligan.鈥�

The AUS league openers for both 黑料吃瓜 soccer teams will take place at home on September 9, when the men's and women鈥檚 teams take on St. FX.
