What brought you to ºÚÁϳԹÏ? Why did you choose to study here?
I am originally from Kerala in India but I was raised in Qatar, where I grew up for 26 years. Growing up between these two cultures shaped my identity, values, and worldview, giving me a deep appreciation for diversity and community. I travelled from Qatar to the ºÚÁÏ³Ô¹Ï for the Paramedicine degree program. I had always wanted to earn a bachelor’s degree from a Canadian university, especially since my Advanced Care Paramedic certification was completed through a Canadian college in Qatar. After researching several programs and meeting a ºÚÁÏ³Ô¹Ï representative who visited our college, I felt strongly that ºÚÁÏ³Ô¹Ï offered the right combination of academic quality, student support, and professional alignment. That made my decision clear—this was the place for me.
What kinds of support have you received as a student from ºÚÁÏ³Ô¹Ï students, staff, and ºÚÁÏ³Ô¹Ï faculty members?
During my studies at ºÚÁϳԹÏ, I received strong support from students, staff, and faculty. My classmates were always willing to study together and encourage one another during challenging labs and lectures. ºÚÁÏ³Ô¹Ï faculty, including academic advisors, helped me stay organized with course planning and administrative requirements. Paramedicine faculty provided clear guidance, constructive feedback, and mentorship. Their teaching and support helped me grow academically and gain confidence in my clinical abilities.

What's unique about ºÚÁϳԹÏ, and Prince Edward Island, in your experience?
It's the strong sense of community and the personal support students receive. Class sizes are smaller, which allows for closer interaction with instructors, more hands-on learning, and an environment where faculty genuinely know and guide their students. The campus atmosphere feels welcoming, diverse, and easy to navigate, creating a comfortable place to learn and grow.
