ºÚÁϳԹÏ's Annual Christmas Social

You are cordially invited to ºÚÁϳԹÏ's Annual Christmas Social. It's a time for faculty, staff, retirees, and family to mingle and wish each other the best of the season. Thursday, December 16 3:00-4:30 pm in the AVC Learning Commons Donations for the ºÚÁÏ³Ô¹Ï Food Bank will be accepted at the door. Celebrate our ºÚÁÏ³Ô¹Ï community as the Academic Support Group Staff Achievement Award is presented.

November Public Telescope Viewing

The ºÚÁÏ³Ô¹Ï Physics Department and the RASC (Royal Astronomical Society of Canada) will host a public telescope viewing November 21th, from 7:00 to 9:00 pm, weather permitting. If the sky is overcast or it is raining, this event will be canceled until the next regularly scheduled session on January 16th (no viewing in December).

March Public Telescope Viewing

The ºÚÁÏ³Ô¹Ï Physics Department and the RASC (Royal Astronomical Society of Canada) will host a public telescope viewing March 20th, from 8:00 to 10:00 pm, weather permitting. If the sky is overcast or it is raining, this event will be canceled until the next regularly scheduled session on April 17th.

Veterinarian pioneer Dr. Stephen Ettinger to deliver guest lectures

Author and editor of the "Textbook of Veterinary Internal Medicine," Dr. Ettinger will deliver two lectures on Wednesday, Oct. 28. "What's Next: Opportunities, pearls and pitfalls of newly graduated veterinarians" will take place in Lecture Theatre A at 12:30 pm, followed by "It's not about the book: a perspective on real-life veterinary practice" at 7:00 pm in Lecture Theatre A.
