SPEAKER: Dr. David Overy, Research Manager, Department of Chemisty TITLE: Recent Advances in the Discovery of Fungal Natural Products: An Industrial Perspective. Everyone is welcome.

The ºÚÁÏ³Ô¹Ï Physics Department and the RASC (Royal Astronomical Society of Canada) will host a public telescope viewing October 17th, from 7:00 to 9:00 pm, weather permitting. If the sky is overcast or it is raining, this event will be canceled until the next regularly scheduled session on November 21th.

Auditions: Vagabond Productions is holding auditions for its upcoming production: The Path of True Love. Auditions are October 26, 27 and 28, from 6 to 9:30 pm, in the Faculty Lounge. Bring your A game; you'll need it. For more information, contact Dr. Greg Doran at gdoran@upei.ca or 566-6013.

The ºÚÁÏ³Ô¹Ï Physics Department and the RASC (Royal Astronomical Society of Canada) will host a public telescope viewing March 20th, from 8:00 to 10:00 pm, weather permitting. If the sky is overcast or it is raining, this event will be canceled until the next regularly scheduled session on April 17th.

Author and editor of the "Textbook of Veterinary Internal Medicine," Dr. Ettinger will deliver two lectures on Wednesday, Oct. 28. "What's Next: Opportunities, pearls and pitfalls of newly graduated veterinarians" will take place in Lecture Theatre A at 12:30 pm, followed by "It's not about the book: a perspective on real-life veterinary practice" at 7:00 pm in Lecture Theatre A.
