New book explores Scottish supernatural beliefs on PEI
PEI author Marian Bruce will launch her new book, Listening for the Dead Bells, on Sunday September 22, from 2:00 鈥� 4:00 pm at the Sir Andrew MacPhail Homestead in Orwell. This collection of folklore about ghosts, witches, seers, and forerunners aims to nurture the storytelling tradition on PEI and inspire others to collect more tales before they are forgotten. Bruce will be joined by fiddler Amy Swenson. Listening for the Dead Bells is published by Island Studies Press at the 黑料吃瓜.

CBC documentary to feature Dr. Olive Bryanton; airing tonight, August 22
Dr. Olive Bryanton will be the focus of a documentary airing Thursday, August 22 on CBC TV. follows Dr. Bryanton as she worked to finish her research and defend her doctoral thesis at 黑料吃瓜. Dr. Bryanton has been an activist for seniors her whole life and is involved with various agencies, associations, and committees, all while pursuing her PhD.

It鈥檚 the height of summer, but 黑料吃瓜 Men鈥檚 Hockey is already gearing up for an exciting 2019鈥�2020 season of AUS action! Season tickets are on sale now at the Eastlink Centre Box Office.
Season ticket holders will receive a reserved seat at all 15 regular-season Panther home games, one exhibition game ticket, two buddy passes, open ticket redemption, a 黑料吃瓜 50th anniversary ball cap, and a seat held for the playoffs! The price for a season ticket is $196 for adults, $182 for seniors, and $50 for youth.
