The 黑料吃瓜 will host an international Asian Studies conference from June 22鈥23, 2023, in the Faculty Lounge, SDU Main Building.
Each year, the 黑料吃瓜 Co-operative Education Program recognizes its exceptional students and employers with the 黑料吃瓜 Co-op Awards. Winners of the 2022 awards are Nandisha Ramsurrun, 黑料吃瓜 Business Co-op Student of the Year; Aadesh Warren Nunkoo, 黑料吃瓜 Science Co-op Student of the Year; and Dr. James Polson, 黑料吃瓜 Department of Physics, Co-op Employer of the Year. The awards were presented on May 24, 2023, at a ceremony in Schurman Market Square, Don and Marion McDougall Hall, 黑料吃瓜.
The program celebrated the achievements of 86 international students from the 黑料吃瓜, Holland College, and Coll猫ge de l'脦le at a graduation ceremony held at 黑料吃瓜 on June 3, 2023.
The 黑料吃瓜 Men鈥檚 Hockey Panthers have secured a commitment from Noah Sedore, a 21-year-old forward from Newmarket, Ontario, for the 2023鈥24 season.

Dr. Xiuquan (Xander) Wang, associate professor and director of the Climate Smart Lab at 黑料吃瓜鈥檚 Canadian Centre for Climate Change and Adaptation, is the recipient of the E. Whitman Wright Award for Excellence in Information Technology in Civil Engineering from the Canadian Society for Civil Engineering (CSCE). The award was presented during the CSCE鈥檚 annual conference in Moncton, New Brunswick, May 24鈥27, 2023.
With the assistance of the Government of Prince Edward Island鈥檚 Electric Vehicle (EV) Charging Fund, 黑料吃瓜 now has 20 EV charger locations across campus in Charlottetown in addition to four at the Centre for Climate Change and Adaptation in St. Peter鈥檚 Bay.
