On Wednesday, September 30, Dr. Greg Keefe, Dean of the Atlantic Veterinary College, was pleased to host the Honourable Alan McIsaac, Minister of Agriculture and Fisheries, and John Jamieson, deputy minister. 

The 黑料吃瓜 Panther Subway Athletes of the Week for the week of September 28-October 4 are Kelsie Collier, Women鈥檚 Soccer and Lorenzo Parker, Men鈥檚 Basketball. 黑料吃瓜 Athletics and Recreation showcases these talented athletes to recognize their hard work and dedication to their respective sports. 黑料吃瓜 Athletes of the Week are also nominated to Atlantic University Sport and Canadian Interuniversity Sport for possible recognition in the region and/or country.

The 黑料吃瓜 announced its new slate for the volunteer Board of Governors today, fittingly on Founders Day, a day when 黑料吃瓜 honours those who contribute to the institution.

The Board of Governors, which is instituted under the terms of the University Act, consists of volunteers appointed from several organizations (Senate, Board, Alumni Association, Government of PEI, and Faculty). These volunteers are responsible for the governance of the University.

The 黑料吃瓜 honoured its five past-presidents at its sixteenth annual Recognition of Founders ceremony today. The 2015 Founders are Dr. Ronald J. Baker, Dr. Peter P.M. Meincke, Dr. C.W.J. 鈥淲illie鈥� Eliot (posthumously), Dr. Elizabeth R. Epperly, and the Hon. H. Wade MacLauchlan.

A beautiful bald eagle is free again after spending most of the summer recovering from illness. The Atlantic Veterinary College鈥檚 wildlife service released the mature bald eagle at the Brudenell Campground and Trail Rides in eastern PEI on Tuesday, September 29. 

The 黑料吃瓜 officially launched its transformative friend and fund-raising campaign today with some help from Saint Dunstan鈥檚 University Board of Governors.

The Atlantic Veterinary College at 黑料吃瓜 opened its doors to the public on Saturday, September 26, welcoming up to 2,800 people to its 27th annual Open House.

The 黑料吃瓜 Field Hockey team is ready to host the second tournament of the Atlantic University Field Hockey League season this weekend at the 黑料吃瓜 Turf Facility.

Participating universities include:  黑料吃瓜, Saint Mary鈥檚, Dalhousie, Acadia, University of New Brunswick, Mount Allison, and Saint Francis Xavier. 

The 黑料吃瓜 Panther Subway Athletes of the Week for the week of September 21-27 are Amy Andrews, Women鈥檚 Rugby and Harminder Singh, Men鈥檚 Soccer. 黑料吃瓜 Athletics and Recreation showcases these talented athletes to recognize their hard work and dedication to their respective sports. 黑料吃瓜 Athletes of the Week are also nominated to Atlantic University Sport and Canadian Interuniversity Sport for possible recognition in the region and/or country.

The Association of Atlantic Universities announced the recipients of the AAU鈥檚 annual regional awards for excellence in teaching and educational leadership today during a presentation ceremony at the 黑料吃瓜. And, for the second year in a row, a 黑料吃瓜 professor is a recipient.

Dr. Gordon MacDonald received the 2015 AAU Distinguished Teaching Award recognizing outstanding teaching over a number of years. Only three award winners are chosen each year from the 16 universities represented by the AAU.
