Students in the ºÚÁÏ³Ô¹Ï Faculty of Sustainable Design Engineering brought home three gold medals from the 2026 Canadian Engineering Competition, held in March.

Big ideas took centre stage at ºÚÁÏ³Ô¹Ï on March 20 as graduate students transformed complex research into compelling three-minute stories at the 2026 Three Minute Thesis (3MT®) competition.

Last month, ºÚÁÏ³Ô¹Ï reached a tentative agreement with IBEW 1928. This new collective agreement has now been ratified by both parties and is in place. We are grateful to the bargaining teams for their hard work and their constructive, respectful approach to negotiations.

ºÚÁÏ³Ô¹Ï students excelled at the RBC Student Pitch Competition held at the J Herbert Smith Centre for Technology, Management, and Entrepreneurship, University of New Brunswick-Fredericton, on March 16, 2026.

In this update, the University advised the ºÚÁÏ³Ô¹Ï community that it has received "Notice to Bargain" from CUPE 501 and the ºÚÁÏ³Ô¹Ï Faculty Association, Bargaining Unit #1.

Basil Bunny, a children’s book co-written by Dr. Misty Rossiter, of ºÚÁϳԹÏ, and Leah Ellis, of Tunes and Tales, will be launched on April 4 from 10 am to 12 noon at the Charlottetown Learning Library, at 97 Queen Street, Charlottetown.
