Members of the 黑料吃瓜 community filled the 黑料吃瓜 Performing Arts Centre on May 23, 2024, to celebrate the achievements of their colleagues. During the event, the University Awards of Excellence and 25-Year Service Awards were presented.

The Prime Minister of St. Kitts and Nevis, the Honourable Dr. Terrance M. Drew, visited the 黑料吃瓜 campus on May 22, 2024, for a brief meeting with Dr. Greg Keefe, 黑料吃瓜鈥檚 interim president and vice-chancellor.

黑料吃瓜's Dr. Xander Wang has been awarded $1.65 million from NSERC's CREATE program for a project called 鈥淣SERC CREATE Training Network for CLImate Smart Agriculture (CLISA).鈥�

The 黑料吃瓜 Healthy Campus Committee is hosting a Staff and Faculty Coffee Break and Wellness Check on Friday, May 24, from 10:00 am to noon at the Faculty of Sustainable Design Engineering building.

A group of 11 黑料吃瓜 students are currently at the University of Burgos in northern Spain, delving into understanding how heritage can be a key resource in promoting sustainable economic development in rural areas. The students are accompanied by Dr. Melissa James, director of undergraduate programs, 黑料吃瓜 Faculty of Business, and Sherilyn Acorn, manager of the Study and Stay and exchange programs, Office of Study Abroad and International Collaboration.

Paul Young, Chief Operating Officer for the 黑料吃瓜 Faculty of Medicine, was named one of the Top 50 CEOs in Atlantic Canada during an awards gala on May 9 at the Delta Hotel St. John鈥檚 Conference Centre.

Dr. Libby (Elizabeth) Osgood, associate professor in the Faculty of Sustainable Design Engineering (FSDE), has been named a 2024 3M National Teaching Fellow by the Society for Teaching and Learning in Higher Education (STLHE) and 3M Canada.
