ºÚÁÏ³Ô¹Ï School of Climate Change and Adaptation participates in World Environment Day activities

World Environment Day, one of the biggest international days for the environment, took place on June 5, and the ºÚÁÏ³Ô¹Ï School of Climate Change and Adaptation participated in activities at the Canadian Centre for Climate Change and Adaptation in St. Peter’s Bay.

 on June 5 is one of the biggest international days for the environment. Led by the  (UNEP) and held annually since 1974, the event has grown to be the largest global platform for environmental outreach, with millions of people from across the world engaging to protect the planet.

ºÚÁÏ³Ô¹Ï Hockey Panthers continue to stack blue line with addition of Cam Morton

The ºÚÁÏ³Ô¹Ï Men’s Hockey Panthers have secured a commitment from Inverary, Ontario native Cam Morton for the 2023–24 season. The team is excited that their new blueline is taking shape with the addition of this strong defenceman.

Morton joins the Panthers after having spent the last four seasons with the Ontario Hockey League’s Erie Otters.

ºÚÁϳԹÏ’s Dr. Xander Wang receives national award for significant contributions to civil engineering

Dr. Xiuquan (Xander) Wang, associate professor and director of the Climate Smart Lab at ºÚÁϳԹÏ’s Canadian Centre for Climate Change and Adaptation, is the recipient of the E. Whitman Wright Award for Excellence in Information Technology in Civil Engineering from the Canadian Society for Civil Engineering (CSCE). The award was presented during the CSCE’s annual conference in Moncton, New Brunswick, May 24–27, 2023.
