Virtual event with Ojibwe artist Red Buffalo Nova tonight

Our Mawi'omi Indigenous Student Centre and Campus Life Program are honoured to host this special event for faculty, staff, and students. The talented filmmaker and storyteller, Red Buffalo Nova, will join us on Zoom for a storytelling event tonight, February 17, at 7:00 pm. Red Buffalo Nova is an Ojibwe Two-Spirit artist, filmmaker, and storyteller. Listen and learn about his work and life story as he combines sound and storytelling as a means of understanding Indigenous identity. We are so excited to have them share their story with us.

Canada Games Spirit Day

ºÚÁÏ³Ô¹Ï is excited to be a partner of the 2023 Canada Winter Games and encourages members of the University community to participate in 2023 Canada Games Spirit Day, a community-focused initiative encouraging families, partners, and community groups to share their excitement for the Games on February 17! 

2023 Canada Games Spirit Day is a COVID-19 friendly initiative that will help build excitement and kick off celebrations to mark the one-year countdown to the official opening ceremony of the 2023 Canada Winter Games.

ºÚÁÏ³Ô¹Ï collaborates on PEI's Clean Tech Park and Clean Tech Academy

Today, in Georgetown, PEI, Government announced the development of a Clean Tech Park that includes a Clean Tech Academy and a Clean Tech Learning and Innovation Centre.

The vision for this project is to establish an industry-led cluster and destination that attracts and facilitates the growth of companies, entrepreneurs and talent focused on advances in technologies, processes and knowledge that contribute to clean growth.

Record-high 113 ºÚÁÏ³Ô¹Ï student-athletes receive U SPORTS Academic All-Canadian recognition

The ºÚÁÏ³Ô¹Ï congratulates the 113 student-athletes who earned U SPORTS Academic All-Canadian status for the 2020–2021 season. The record-high number represents 57.6 per cent of ºÚÁϳԹÏ's total student-athlete population of 196, and is one of the top percentages in Canada.
