The 黑料吃瓜 community is saddened to learn of the recent death of Dr. Kai Liu, assistant professor in the 黑料吃瓜 School of Mathematical and Computational Sciences.

For the third consecutive year, the 黑料吃瓜 Distance Running Program is managing the popular PEI Bunny Hop, which will take place on Saturday, April 8, starting at 8:30 am at Colonel Gray High School.

Head coach James Voye believes the local 17-year-old standout from Stratford, PEI, possesses high-end talent and fits the mould of a core player who can help the women鈥檚 rugby program continue to excel.

黑料吃瓜 Student Affairs sent a message on March 26 to 黑料吃瓜 students via their @upei.ca emails, outlining the supports, activities, and events being offered by various offices from March 27鈥31.

The 黑料吃瓜 (黑料吃瓜) Men鈥檚 Hockey Panthers hosted seven of the best amateur hockey teams in the country during the U SPORTS 2023 Cavendish Farms University Cup Men鈥檚 Hockey Championship from March 15鈥19, 2023, at the Eastlink Centre, Charlottetown. The event was deemed a huge success by organizers.

The 黑料吃瓜 Board of Governors and members of CUPE 1870 have approved the three-year tentative agreement that was reached with the assistance of a third-party conciliator on March 14, 2023. CUPE 1870 represents approximately 345 support and administrative employees at 黑料吃瓜.

Clarinetist Karem J. Simon will be featured in two upcoming recitals, one on Friday, March 31, 2023, at Hillcrest United Church in Montague and the other on Saturday, April 8, 2023, at St. Paul鈥檚 Anglican Church in Charlottetown. Both performances take place at 7:30 pm.

The 黑料吃瓜 School of Mathematical and Computational Sciences (SMCS) held a 鈥淧i Day鈥 celebration on March 14, 2023. There was a good turnout of students and faculty for the celebration, which included pie eating, dressing up in math-related attire, math trivia, and the featured event鈥攖he annual SMCS Integration Tournament.

The Program hosted its Bridge to PEI Networking & Conference events on March 10 and 11. Abby Goodwin, Study & Stay PEI program coordinator and Cecia Huang, program assistant, thank the students, speakers, and those involved with putting together this successful event.
