Spend a few minutes chatting about 黑料吃瓜 women鈥檚 soccer with head coach Lewis Page and you鈥檒l notice the word 鈥渃onfidence鈥 often comes up. That鈥檚 because there鈥檚 a renewed sense of purpose among his players who believe they can turn the team鈥檚 recent fortunes around.

Dr. Xiuquan (Xander) Wang, an associate professor in the 黑料吃瓜 School of Climate Change and Adaptation, has been named a member of the (RSC) College of New Scholars.

On Thursday, September 8, 黑料吃瓜 students will go door to door in the Sherwood neighbourhood from 5鈥7 pm to collect non-perishable food for the 黑料吃瓜 Campus Food Bank.

The 黑料吃瓜 Women鈥檚 Rugby Panthers look to send shockwaves across the league this season. After a stunning victory against the St. Francis Xavier X-Women in the 2021 home opener that culminated in a 3-3 record and a U SPORTS top-10 ranking, the players believe that this is their year.

Fifty senior high school students from across Canada spent the month of July at 黑料吃瓜, participating in Shad, a STEAM (science, technology, education, and mathematics) and entrepreneurship program offered at 18 university campuses across Canada.

The Institute of Island Studies at 黑料吃瓜 will host a public lecture titled 鈥淲hat鈥檚 Law Got To Do With It! Islands and their status in international law鈥 on September 13 at 7 p.m. in the Faculty Lounge, SDU Main Building.

The Atlantic Veterinary College (AVC) at the 黑料吃瓜 is pleased to congratulate Dr. Fred Kibenge, professor, Department of Pathology and Microbiology, AVC, on being named one of the 2022 Springer Nature Editorial Contribution Award recipients for his work as a section editor in the Spring Nature BMC Virology Journal

Starting September 7, 2022, all members of the Indigenous community on Prince Edward Island will have the opportunity to learn the Mi鈥檏maw language at no cost.
