As a partner of the 2023 Canada Winter Games, ºÚÁÏ³Ô¹Ï is excited, along with the Canada Winter Games Host Society, to promote the 2023 Canada Winter Games Torch Relay.

On Wednesday, June 22, the ºÚÁÏ³Ô¹Ï had the honour of participating in an interactive online event with President Volodymyr Zelenskyy, who delivered a live video address from Ukraine to students across Canada. ºÚÁÏ³Ô¹Ï was one of nine universities on the Zoom call with President Zelenskyy.

New research out of the Atlantic Veterinary College (AVC) at the ºÚÁÏ³Ô¹Ï suggests a high prevalence of canine leptospirosis regionally within Canada.

The ºÚÁÏ³Ô¹Ï Co-operative Education Program recently recognized its exceptional students and employers with its annual awards, which included a new Arts Co-op Student of the Year Award. Students were nominated by their work-term employers, and employers were nominated by students who worked for them in 2021.

The ºÚÁÏ³Ô¹Ï men’s soccer team is well known for fielding a strong contingent of homegrown talent, and this upcoming season will be no exception with Jacob Tweel, Will Campbell, and Lachlan MacEachern joining the squad.

Island Studies Press is pleased to announce that two ºÚÁÏ³Ô¹Ï authors recently won PEI Book Awards. My island’s the house I sleep in at night by Dr. Laurie Brinklow won the poetry category, and Home Is Where the Water Is by the late Dr. Hung-Min Chiang received the award for non-fiction. The awards were announced on May 29 at the Trailside Café in Charlottetown.
