ºÚÁÏ³Ô¹Ï announced that effective December 7, 2020, it will move back to an essential services model and suspend in-person classes for two weeks due the restrictions announced by the PEI Chief Public Health Office on December 6, 2020.

The Associate Vice-President of Students and Registrar issued a message to students on December 6, 2020 via their @upei.ca emails to advise them that in-person classes have been suspended effective December 7, 2020 until December 21, 2020 because of the additional restrictions announced by the PEI Chief Public Health Office.

Holland College and the ºÚÁÏ³Ô¹Ï have signed 22 degree pathway agreements to enable graduates from Holland College to pursue their educational goals seamlessly and obtain a degree from ºÚÁϳԹÏ.

December 6 is the National Day of Remembrance and Action on Violence against Women in Canada. Established in 1991 by the Parliament of Canada, this day marks the anniversary of the murders in 1989 of 14 young women at l'École Polytechnique de Montréal. ºÚÁÏ³Ô¹Ï will observe the day by lowering the flags in front of Kelley Memorial Building to half-mast.

| Atlantic Veterinary College

With financial support from a major donor, the Atlantic Veterinary College, ºÚÁϳԹÏ, will expand its diagnostic imaging capacity with the addition of a magnetic resonance imagining (MRI) scanner.

Congratulations to Karen Yetman, AVC Class of 2023, who placed first in the veterinary division of the 20th annual American Veterinary Medical Association (AVMA) Animal Welfare Assessment Contest, which took place virtually on November 20 and 21.

The ºÚÁÏ³Ô¹Ï community extends its deepest condolences to the family, friends, and colleagues of Dr. Hung Min "Min" Chiang, retired professor of psychology, who passed away suddenly on November 24, 2020 at his home in Stratford, PEI.
