ºÚÁϳԹÏ

Faculty and staff of the biomedical sciences department at the Atlantic Veterinary College (AVC) ladled out generosity and conversation to hundreds of hungry students at the ºÚÁÏ³Ô¹Ï (ºÚÁϳԹÏ) in February. 

The ºÚÁÏ³Ô¹Ï Office of Health, Safety, and Environment has provided information to the campus community about viewing the upcoming total solar eclipse safely. 

Dr. Brent MacLaine will launch a new poetry book called A Skeptic in Springtime on April 24, 2024, at 7 pm, in the Faculty Lounge (Room 201), SDU Main Building, ºÚÁϳԹÏ.

Samuel Harding, a third-year Bachelor of Business Administration student at the ºÚÁϳԹÏ, has won a prestigious Frank H. Sobey Award for Excellence in Business Studies valued at $45,000.

The ºÚÁÏ³Ô¹Ï Board of Governors approved the  at a special meeting of the Board on March 27, 2024.

Dr. Joshua MacFadyen, Canada Research Chair in Geospatial Humanities, recently received a 2024 PEI Museum and Heritage Foundation Award for his book, Time Flies: A History of Prince Edward Island from the Air.

ºÚÁÏ³Ô¹Ï is saddened by the passing of Dr. Theresa Bernardo, the first graduate student at the University, on March 13, 2024. 

The ºÚÁÏ³Ô¹Ï community is invited to the installation ceremony on April 5, 2024, for ºÚÁϳԹÏ's next Chancellor, the Honourable Diane F. Griffin.

The ºÚÁÏ³Ô¹Ï Board of Governors welcomes two new members for a three-year term: ºÚÁÏ³Ô¹Ï faculty members, Bill Waterman and Dr. Gary Evans.

In an email on March 22, Shannon MacDonald, Chair of the ºÚÁÏ³Ô¹Ï Board of Governors, invited members of the campus community to a special Board meeting on Zoom where the ºÚÁÏ³Ô¹Ï Action Plan will be presented to the Board for approval.
