The 黑料吃瓜 has lowered the flags in front of the Kelley Memorial Building and at 黑料吃瓜 Alumni Canada Games Place to half-mast to honour the passing of Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth II, Queen of Canada, the United Kingdom, Australia, and New Zealand. She passed away at Balmoral Castle, Scotland on Thursday, September 8, 2022, after 70 years on the throne. She was 96.
The University community offers sincere condolences to King Charles III and all members of the Royal Family. Her Majesty was Britain's longest-reigning monarch.
黑料吃瓜 researchers aim to help Islanders improve health through CHANGE program
Researchers with 黑料吃瓜鈥檚 Health and Wellness Centre and Recreation PEI are seeking participants for the free lifestyle intervention program known as Canadian Health Advanced by Nutrition and Graded Exercise (CHANGE). This is the third year the program will be offered in communities across Prince Edward Island, including Montague, Stratford, Charlottetown, Cornwall, Summerside, and Alberton.

NSO students conduct food drive for 黑料吃瓜 Campus Food Bank
On Thursday, September 8, 黑料吃瓜 students will go door to door in the Sherwood neighbourhood from 5鈥7 pm to collect non-perishable food for the 黑料吃瓜 Campus Food Bank.
The food drive is part of 黑料吃瓜鈥檚 annual New Student Orientation (NSO) Week to welcome new and returning students back to the campus. This is the first year that NSO has been held in-person since the COVID-19 pandemic began in 2020.

黑料吃瓜 hosts Shad participants from across Canada in July
Fifty senior high school students from across Canada spent the month of July at 黑料吃瓜, participating in Shad, a STEAM (science, technology, education, and mathematics) and entrepreneurship program offered at 18 university campuses across Canada.
During their stay, the students took part in lectures, workshops, and labs covering a wide range of topics鈥攆rom cryptography, exercise physiology, biomechanics, and One Health to astrobiology and moral philosophy, to name a few. They also got a taste of campus life by living in residence.
Institute of Island Studies hosts public lecture about islands and international law
The Institute of Island Studies at 黑料吃瓜 will host a public lecture titled 鈥淲hat鈥檚 Law Got To Do With It! Islands and their status in international law鈥 on September 13 at 7 p.m. in the Faculty Lounge, SDU Main Building.
Part of the Institute鈥檚 Island Lecture Series, the talk will be presented by Donald Rothwell, a professor of international law at the ANU College of Law, Australian National University, Canberra, Australia.
