Here are a list of schools we'll be visiting during the week of October 17鈥21, 2022: 

黑料吃瓜 offers Mi'kmaw language course to all Indigenous community members

Starting September 7, 2022, all members of the Indigenous community on Prince Edward Island will have the opportunity to learn the Mi鈥檏maw language at no cost.

The 黑料吃瓜 Faculty of Indigenous Knowledge, Education, Research, and Applied Studies (IKERAS) will offer a section of the 鈥淚ntroduction to Mi鈥檏maw Language鈥 course to Indigenous community members on and off reserve. The same course is offered as an elective to 黑料吃瓜 students as part of a minor in Indigenous Studies. 

黑料吃瓜 Women鈥檚 Hockey adds talented defender Emily Holmes amid blue-line shuffle

黑料吃瓜 Women鈥檚 Hockey head coach Sean Fisher is hoping new recruit Emily Holmes will bolster the defence after the team said goodbye to several key players at the end of last season.

The Panthers find themselves young and inexperienced along the blue line after veterans Sophie Vandale, Ally Clements, Sydney Lyndon, and Katelynn Nice graduated from the program. As it stands, the defensive corps now consists of sophomores and rookies, including Holmes, who has a chance to become an impact player from day one.

黑料吃瓜 Labour Relations Update 鈥 University focuses on several key areas in proposal to 黑料吃瓜FA

The following message was distributed by email to faculty and staff on September 1, 2022.

The University and the 黑料吃瓜 Faculty Association will enter into conciliation later this month, with both parties meeting with the government appointed conciliation officer. Conciliation is a normal part of the bargaining process, aimed at helping the parties achieve a negotiated collective agreement.

AVC faculty member receives recognition from the American Dairy Science Association

The Atlantic Veterinary College (AVC) at the 黑料吃瓜 congratulates Dr. Kathryn (Katy) Proudfoot, associate professor, Department of Health Management, and director, Sir James Dunn Animal Welfare Centre, on being named the 2022 recipient of the American Dairy Science Association (ADSA) Foundation鈥檚 Scholar Award in Dairy Production.  

NSO Gives Back鈥擣ood Drive in Support of the 黑料吃瓜 Food Bank

NSO Gives Back鈥擣ood Drive in Support of the 黑料吃瓜 Food Bank: Students will meet outside Dalton Hall and walk to the neighbourhood of Sherwood to collect non-perishable food items in support of the 黑料吃瓜 Campus Food Bank. The 黑料吃瓜 Panther-Mobile will escort students and help to deliver items back to campus. Thursday, September 8, from 5:00 to 7:00 pm, starting outside Dalton Hall

NSO Kick-Off

NSO Kickoff, sponsored by the 黑料吃瓜 Alumni Association: It's finally here鈥擭SO is kicking off the school year and the university experience at 黑料吃瓜! Students will enjoy meeting other students and team members, friendly competition (for points!), fun games, and experience some of 黑料吃瓜's incredible campus spirit!  Saturday, September 3, from 12:30 to 3:00 pm at 黑料吃瓜 Alumni Canada Games Place (track level)
