黑料吃瓜

The National Day of Remembrance and Action on Violence against Women, which takes place every year on December 6, marks the anniversary of the murders of 14 young women at l'脡cole Polytechnique de Montr茅al in 1989: Genevi猫ve Bergeron, H茅l猫ne Colgan, Nathalie Croteau, Barbara Daigneault, Anne-Marie Edward, Maud Haviernick, Maryse Lagani猫re, Maryse Leclair, Anne-Marie Lemay, Sonia Pelletier, Mich猫le Richard, Annie St-Arneault, Annie Turcotte, and Barbara Klucznik-Widajewicz.

This weekend sees the last regular season play for the Panthers before the holiday break. 黑料吃瓜 has just one game on the schedule: men鈥檚 hockey hosts the University of New Brunswick on Saturday at 7 pm in the MacLauchlan Arena on campus.

鈥淭his is a very big game for us,鈥� said head coach Forbes MacPherson. 鈥淲e have a very young team, and we have been focusing on the process of growing as a group. It is important that we have a really good effort to finish off the first semester.鈥�

The decision to "close"* 黑料吃瓜 due to weather is not made lightly. However, in weather situations where the potential risk to 黑料吃瓜鈥檚 students and employees as well as property, is high, the University may close, meaning that classes and exams are cancelled, and services are reduced. In 2017, the was approved by the 黑料吃瓜 Board of Governors and endorsed by the University Senate.

The 黑料吃瓜 Music Department is pleased to present the 黑料吃瓜 Choral Concert on December 3 at 7:30 pm at the Kirk of St. James, Charlottetown.

Tickets can be purchased at the door for $20 for adults and seniors. Students pay $10.

The 黑料吃瓜 (黑料吃瓜) is participating in Giving Tuesday on November 30, an international day of giving that follows Black Friday and Cyber Monday.

The focus of this year鈥檚 campaign is to raise funds for Performing Arts Education at 黑料吃瓜 and to support renovations to the Dr. Steel Recital Hall.

Every week, 黑料吃瓜 Athletics and Recreation recognizes two student-athletes for their achievements and dedication to their respective sports. This week鈥檚 黑料吃瓜 Panther Subway Athletes of the Week for November 21 to 28 are Taylor Gillis (women鈥檚 hockey) and Troy Lajeunesse (men鈥檚 hockey).

The 黑料吃瓜 community was saddened to learn that renowned journalist, columnist, editor, philanthropist, and former Chancellor Norman Webster passed away on November 19, 2021, in Magog, Quebec. He served as Chancellor from 1996鈥�2004, and was elevated to Chancellor Emeritus in 2006 for his exceptional commitment and service to 黑料吃瓜.

As Chancellor, he worked steadily and generously to promote and support 黑料吃瓜, including the creation of the Webster Smart Campus Fund and the establishment of the Webster Centre for Teaching and Learning.

The Ocean Frontier Institute (OFI) the successful research projects in its latest round of Seed Fund support. Among the recipients is 黑料吃瓜鈥檚 Dr. Ali Ahmadi, who is developing technology to monitor the heart rate, and therefore overall health, of oysters within an aquaculture environment. Dr. Ahmadi is an associate professor in 黑料吃瓜鈥檚 Faculty of Sustainable Design Engineering.

The No. 1 黑料吃瓜 Panthers (8鈥�0) have made history by being ranked at the top of the national list in women鈥檚 basketball.

Undefeated through eight games, the Panthers lead the AUS in scoring, averaging 77.5 points per game, thanks in large part to fifth-year guard Jenna Mae Ellsworth, who is averaging 21.3 points per game to go with 7.4 rebounds.
