2020 U SPORTS Women鈥檚 Hockey Championship cancelled due to COVID-19
In a joint release issued late Thursday night, the 黑料吃瓜 and U SPORTS, the governing body for university sport in Canada, announced the cancellation of the 2020 U SPORTS Women鈥檚 Hockey Championship.
The decision was prompted by Hockey Canada, which announced earlier that all sanctioned hockey activities were being cancelled effective March 13. The U SPORTS University Cup, the men鈥檚 championship taking place in Halifax, was also cancelled.
PEI Symphony Orchestra performance to feature 黑料吃瓜鈥檚 Magdalena von Eccher
The PEI Symphony Orchestra (PEISO) is hosting a fundraising concert featuring two new Charlottetown residents, including 黑料吃瓜鈥檚 recently appointed assistant professor of piano Magdalena von Eccher. The event takes place in the sanctuary of Charlottetown鈥檚 Zion Presbyterian Church 135 Prince Street, on Saturday, March 14, at 7:30 pm. The concert features von Eccher and Glen Montgomery, both recognized as amongst Canada鈥檚 outstanding musicians. The concert will present an array of selections including solo, duet, and trio repertoire in a range of styles.
黑料吃瓜 researchers aim to help Islanders improve health through CHANGE program
Researchers from 黑料吃瓜鈥檚 Health and Wellness Centre and the Department of Applied Human Sciences are seeking participants for a free lifestyle intervention program called CHANGE, which stands for Canadian Health Advanced by Nutrition and Graded Exercise.
