黑料吃瓜 Music Department Recital Series presents the New Brunswick Youth Orchestra

The 黑料吃瓜 Music Department Recital Series 2019-2020 is hosting the New Brunswick Youth Orchestra (NBYO) at the Dr. Steel Recital Hall on Sunday, February 9, at 2:00 pm. The stage will be full with 76 young musicians who have been touring the Maritime provinces.

Admission is $5 at the door. All are welcome.

Movie Talks @ Robertson Library: Lost Boys of Sudan

Robertson Library and WUSC 黑料吃瓜 invite you to attend a screening of the documentary Lost Boys of Sudan. Lost Boys of Sudan is a documentary film by Megan Mylan and Jon Shenk about two Dinka boys from Sudan who travel from a refugee camp in Kenya to the United States to escape the civil war in their country. Admission is free, but there will be donations accepted at the door to raise money for the Shine A Light program, an initiative that provides women and girls within refugee camps the opportunity to better their education prospects.

Library at the heart of 黑料吃瓜鈥檚 last 50 years鈥攁nd its future

鈥淚t鈥檚 not an accident the library was one of the first major capital construction projects after 黑料吃瓜 came into being,鈥 said University Librarian Donald Moses, sitting at his desk in the Robertson Library. A broad window overlooks a courtyard where students come and go.

鈥淚t was a huge priority for our first president, Ron Baker, because he knew the library is the heart of any university. It was true 50 years ago, and it鈥檚 true today.鈥

Panthers at Home, January 29

After a busy weekend at home, the Panther varsity teams are packing for road trips across the Maritimes. There鈥檚 just one game on the home schedule this week, as 黑料吃瓜 women鈥檚 hockey gears up Wednesday, January 29, for a game against the Universit茅 de Moncton. The puck drops at 7 pm in MacLauchlan Arena.
