Job-Ready Bootcamp
Today's university students are graduating into a rapidly changing work-world. This Job-Ready Bootcamp helps students make sense of the labour market and translate their academic learning and experiences into the job skills employers are seeking. Understanding the contemporary landscape of work and how employers evaluate potential candidates is key to effectively preparing job search documents, delivering an impressive interview, and ultimately achieving short-term and long-term career goals.
The full-day program includes the following four skill-building workshops:
Gender Justice and Equality From a Sustainable Development Perspective: A Workshop with Jillian Kilfoil
In commemoration of the 30th anniversary of International Development Week, a Workshop on Promoting Gender Justice with a Social Determinants and Sustainable Development perspective will be held on Wednesday, 5 February in the Home Science Building 104 (HSB 104) at 5:00 pm.
The workshop will be led by Jillian Kilfoil, Executive Director, Women's Network of PEI.
All are welcome to attend this free event.
Coffee and snacks will be served.

Understanding how career pathways connect to different sets of skills and competencies can be important in preparing yourself for a changing work world.
In this workshop, students will learn about:

- Gaining meaningful experience

Chris Huggan, director of Athletics and Recreation at 黑料吃瓜, has named Lewis Page the new head coach of the 黑料吃瓜 women鈥檚 soccer team. Page has an extensive and impressive track record, including currently serving as head coach of the 黑料吃瓜 men鈥檚 soccer team.
Veterans Affairs Canada and 黑料吃瓜 forge new partnership
黑料吃瓜 and Veterans Affairs Canada (VAC) signed a memorandum of understanding today to explore ways in which the two organizations can collaborate in clinical services, recruitment, training and educational services. Mammals Book Launch at Eptek Centre
A book launch and talk celebrating Mammals of Prince Edward Island and Adjacent Marine Waters will be held in the Eptek Centre in Summerside on Sunday, February 2, from 2 to 3:30 pm. This long-overdue book provides a comprehensive guide to the Island鈥檚 terrestrial and marine mammals. Rooted in historical accounts and local research, it illuminates the lives of PEI mammals large and small. From the little brown bat to the Sowerby鈥檚 beaked whale, this book highlights each species in illustrated detail and outlines the continued need for conservation efforts in this province.
