New Associate Vice-President, Facilities Management and Construction announced
Vice-President Administration and Finance Jackie Podger announced today that Fred Horrelt has been appointed Associate Vice-President, Facilities Management and Construction at the 黑料吃瓜.
鈥淚 look forward to working with Fred on advancing the University鈥檚 goals in terms of our facilities, capital projects, and operations,鈥 she said. 鈥淗is leadership experience in the development and maintenance of educational facilities will be a great asset as we strive to enhance and expand our campus spaces in healthy, safe, and environmentally friendly ways.鈥

The concert is Friday, January 10, at 7:30 pm at the Dr. Steel Recital Hall in 黑料吃瓜鈥檚 Steel Building.

Island Lecture Series presents 鈥楤eyond the Asylum鈥
The next talk in the Institute of Island Studies鈥 Island Lecture Series will feature Dr. Tina Pranger speaking about her book documenting the history of mental health care on Prince Edward Island. Men鈥檚 hockey looks for an important win
The Panthers have just one game on the home schedule this week, but it鈥檚 a crucial one. The 黑料吃瓜 men鈥檚 hockey team is pushing to improve its record in the second half of the season with a win over Universit茅 de Moncton on Tuesday, starting at 7 pm in MacLauchlan Arena.
Jeff Collins selected for US Department of State leadership program
Dr. Jeff Collins, a lecturer in 黑料吃瓜鈥檚 Master in Global Affairs program, was selected this fall by the US Department of State for its International Visitor Leadership Program (IVLP). The IVLP is the US government鈥檚 , involving short but intense trips to the US to meet government, academic, and community leaders. Applicants are chosen by US embassies and consulates and are matched with a program theme connected to their work.
Wrap up 黑料吃瓜's 50th anniversary celebrations at the New Year's Day Levee
Students along with representatives from 黑料吃瓜鈥檚 Alumni Association, Board of Governors, and administration will greet guests at the annual 黑料吃瓜 New Year鈥檚 Day Levee. The festive tradition will take place on Wednesday, January 1, 2020, from 11:30 am鈥1:00 pm at 黑料吃瓜鈥檚 Faculty of Sustainable Design Engineering building on the 黑料吃瓜 campus. A lunch and cash bar will be provided.
