The ºÚÁÏ³Ô¹Ï has recently joined the Academics Without Borders (AWB) Network, and Dr. Ann Braithwaite, professor of Diversity and Social Justice Studies at ºÚÁϳԹÏ, has been elected to the AWB board of directors.
In this campus and community message, Interim President Greg Keefe invites students, staff, faculty, retired employees, alumni, and community members to provide feedback on the preliminary draft of the ºÚÁÏ³Ô¹Ï Action Plan.
Dr. Edward MacDonald, professor of history at ºÚÁϳԹÏ, was among 78 Canadians named to the Order of Canada by Her Excellency the Right Honourable Mary Simon, Governor General of Canada, on December 28, 2023.

The ºÚÁÏ³Ô¹Ï Department of Development and Alumni Engagement asks people to consider supporting and inspiring students by contributing to the 2023–2024 ºÚÁÏ³Ô¹Ï Annual Fund by the end of this year. All gifts made before midnight on December 31 will receive a 2023 charitable tax receipt. The ºÚÁÏ³Ô¹Ï thanks all those who have already given this year.
The ºÚÁÏ³Ô¹Ï Board of Governors welcomes three new members for a three-year team: Kristi Kelly; Donald K. MacKenzie; and Dr. Ajay Sahajpal.

The ºÚÁÏ³Ô¹Ï has created seven new positions in the Equity, Diversity, and Inclusion (EDI) Office, Sexual Violence Prevention and Response Office (SVPRO), and Student Affairs. The seven positions are being funded by a combination of internal resources and new support from the Government of Prince Edward Island.
