AVC hosts successful 2021 Dr. Tim Ogilvie AVC Vet Camp
After a hiatus in 2020 because of COVID-19, the Dr. Tim Ogilvie AVC Vet Camp was back in full swing this summer at the Atlantic Veterinary College. In the month of July, 200 young people from across Canada discovered what life as a veterinarian is like during four one-week camps for junior and senior high school students.

Three Oaks star Emily McKenna brings added dimension to 黑料吃瓜 Women鈥檚 Rugby
The Three Oaks Senior High Female Athlete of the Year鈥擡mily McKenna鈥攊s joining the 黑料吃瓜 Panthers. And she鈥檚 doing it as a rugby player.
After going through possible scenarios, McKenna鈥攁 three-sport athlete with the Three Oaks Axewomen鈥攗ltimately decided to pursue rugby at the next level, citing her love of the sport as the deciding factor.
鈥淛ust about everything about the sport piques my interest,鈥� McKenna said. 鈥淭he intensity is one of my favourite parts. I play every sport with a high intensity level, but sometimes you don鈥檛 get the same level in return.鈥�

2021 Volunteer Fair
The 黑料吃瓜 Experiential Education Department will be holding its annual Volunteer Fair on Wednesday, September 15, 2021 from 10:00 am鈥�2:00 pm in McMillan Hall in the W. A. Murphy Student Centre.
The Volunteer Fair invites students to meet with organizations to learn about volunteer opportunities in our community. This event is FREE for students to attend. The event will be in-person and will follow all appropriate and applicable COVID-19 protocols.
